    Biography


    Richard Deacon has received numerous honors and awards for his work, including the Turner Prize in 1987, and in 1999 he was both elected a member of the Royal Academy of London and received the CBE. His work has been the subject of numerous international exhibitions and can be found in the permanent collections of the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; The Museum of Modern Art, New York; The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin; the Kunstmuseum, Basel; among many others. Richard Deacon lives and works in London.
